Maplecroft shortlisted for two awards in the 2010 Risk Management Awards

Risk Management Professional, a magazine published in association with the Institute of Risk Managers, has shortlisted Maplecroft for two awards in its inaugural Risk Management Awards, which aim to recognise excellence and innovation in all facets of risk management.

Maplecroft's two award categories include:

Risk Management Product of the Year, for the Global Risks Portfolio, which houses Maplecroft's huge range of risk indices, interactive and sub-national maps, country scorecards, briefings and in-depth reports.

Risk Management Professional has shortlisted products in this category that they believe "have delivered real value to organisations - and which have possibly spawned imitators; the true proof of a groundbreaking innovation."

Environmental Risk Initiative of the Year, for Maplecroft's Climate Change Risk Atlas 2010 and environmental risk indices and interactive risk mapping products, including the Natural Disasters Series and resource security indices. This award recognises the service provider that has made a significant contribution in assisting organisations to improve their green credentials.

Winners will be announced at the award ceremony in November in London.
