The Legal and Regulatory Environment Atlas 2010 has been developed to enable organisations to identify and monitor a range of risks in 172 countries including: rule of law, respect for property rights, access to remedy, corruption, corporate governance, the regulatory framework and supply chain complicity risk.

The Global Risk Atlas 2010 includes 34 global risk indices. Seven aggregated indices, on macroeconomic risk, security risk, governance risk, resource security, climate change, pandemics and infectious disease and societal resilience, access to remedy and the overall human rights situation, provide further insight into each country’s risk profile.
Global risks indices identify, interpret and prioritise specific types of risk in the global values chains of business, as well as risks in new markets. This supports the effective prioritisation of risk mitigation efforts.

The Political Risk Atlas 2010 includes 41 risk indices clustered into two categories. The first, dynamic risks, assesses 'traditional' political risks, such as regime stability, rule of law, terrorism and the business environment.
