The Global Risk Atlas 2010 includes 34 global risk indices. Seven aggregated indices, on macroeconomic risk, security risk, governance risk, resource security, climate change, pandemics and infectious disease and societal resilience, access to remedy and the overall human rights situation, provide further insight into each country’s risk profile.

Global risks indices identify, interpret and prioritise specific types of risk in the global values chains of business, as well as risks in new markets. This supports the effective prioritisation of risk mitigation efforts.

The Political Risk Atlas 2010 includes 41 risk indices clustered into two categories. The first, dynamic risks, assesses 'traditional' political risks, such as regime stability, rule of law, terrorism and the business environment. The second, structural risks, measures long-term trends and deeply ingrained features of a country, such as human rights, resource security, development, economic diversification and climate change vulnerability.

Detailed analysis, country scorecards and interactive sub-national maps offer easy-to-use tools for organisations to mitigate political risks to their operations supply chains and distribution networks.
