Welcome to our corporate citizenship glossary. This glossary is an introduction to common corporate citizenship concepts and what they mean in practice. It includes definitions and discussions of key issues relating to business ethics, human rights, labour, stakeholder engagement and environment.

When reading about these concepts, you will notice a number of hyperlinked words or terms. This means they are either explained in their own right elsewhere in the glossary, or are linked to relevant source material on line. At the bottom of each glossary item, you will also find a number of related concepts and links to other documents and sections of our intranet.

This is a living resource that forms part of our public commitment to involve as many people as possible in corporate citizenship. We acknowledge there are many other terms and concepts we will need to talk about and learn about, and will seek to introduce discussions of these on an ongoing basis.
